Welcome to our new Plumer family website. While our last name may not be Plumer, I suspect and hope that you share the deep connection to that name that I feel. This is my way of perpetuating that and sharing it among all of us. In Philly, We Really Can Go Home

Every year I head north to to be with my Canadian family for the holidays. On this trip I rushed to make the trip a few days early so that I could be in Philadelphia in time to be with our family in mourning the passing of Bud Plumer. I had with me the boxes of old Plumer family photos that I have begun posting here. Several of them were pictures of the Plumer Building at 20th and Green and of my dad Sid Adler, and grandfather, Pop Plumer, in Lew’s Market, their store there.
